Job Description
Wyrmix is a young product design and engineering firm that specializes in consumer-facing digital + physical interactions. We work closely with brands to not only create new products but also experiential installations for marketing teams. We are seeking a senior iOS developer to join our fledgling company and help us grow.
The Senior iOS Developer will manage and guide our design team in the creation of mobile applications for our clients. Depending on the project, we may either use hybrid technologies such as flutter / react native if it makes sense to. We prefer native development whenever possible but it does come down to whatever our client's needs are. We need a developer who is skilled in native iOS development who is not opposed to using hybrid solutions whenever necessary.
Job Duties
- Developing and maintaining iOS applications
- Willingness to work in a team or in a silo depending on the project
- Working on multiple client mobile projects which can either be iOS or hybrid (no android experience required)
- Helping to scope out projects for clients
- Working closely with the design team to build out applications
Knowledge and Skills
- Experience working on and deploying an iOS app in the app store
- Experience developing mobile applications for accessibility
- Experience building complex views for mobile apps that interact with hardware
- Experience with ARkit and bluetooth
